Every Texas landowner’s story is unique, with one certainty: the day will come when you land asset will be distributed to others. This may be a family heir or someone who purchases your property. There are many questions that must be considered: Will the transition to my heirs be smooth, or will it create conlict and ill will that might possibly tear the family apart. Will I sell the property and enjoy my retirement years and distribute inheritances to my heirs? Will I place the property/asset into a trust, and, if so, who will be the trustees and how will the property be managed. These are just a few of the things that need to be considered
